Condom Size Chart by Brand

Condom Size Chart by Brand

This is a reference table comparing the published dimensions of the most popular condom lines sold in the U.S. The most important number for fit is nominal width. We have organized this from snug (smallest) to extra-large (biggest) so you can find the closest match to your measurements quickly. Measurements are pulled from manufacturer specifications and may shift slightly between manufacturing runs.

How to Use This Chart

If you have not measured yet, see our sizing guide for the two-minute version. Take your erect circumference in millimeters, divide by two, and find the closest nominal width in the chart below. That brand's standard line is your starting point.

Snug Fit (49 to 51 mm Nominal Width)

  • LifeStyles Snugger Fit: 49 mm nominal width, 178 mm length. Tighter fit, shorter length.
  • ONE Snugger Fit: 49 mm, 184 mm length.
  • Caution Wear Iron Grip: 49 mm, 178 mm.
  • Kimono MicroThin: 51 mm, 180 mm. A common in-between width that fits both snug and average users. Available as Kimono MicroThin 3-pack and Kimono MicroThin Variety Pack.

Standard (52 to 54 mm Nominal Width)

Large (54 to 56 mm Nominal Width)

Extra Large (56 mm and Up)

  • Trojan Magnum XL: 56 mm at base, widens further at the head. 30 percent larger than standard Trojan condoms. See Trojan Magnum XL.
  • Union Standard / The MAX: 56 mm width. See Union The MAX 12-pack.
  • MyONE Custom Fit: available in 56, 58, 60, 62, and 64 mm widths, plus matching length variants. Custom sizing for users who fall outside off-the-shelf options.

Width vs Circumference Quick Reference

Nominal width is roughly half the circumference of the rolled-out condom. Here is a quick lookup if you know your circumference:

  • Erect circumference 96 to 102 mm (3.8 to 4.0 in) → snug fit, 49 to 51 mm nominal width.
  • Erect circumference 102 to 110 mm (4.0 to 4.3 in) → standard, 52 to 54 mm nominal.
  • Erect circumference 110 to 116 mm (4.3 to 4.6 in) → large, 54 to 56 mm nominal.
  • Erect circumference 116 mm and above (4.6 in+) → extra-large, 56 mm and up.

Notes on Reading Sizes

A few things to watch for. Width listed on the package can be "nominal" (a flat measurement) or "at base" (some condoms are flared at the head, meaning the base is narrower). Length is unrolled length, not the length you need to cover. Some brands publish in inches, some in millimeters. A few brands publish only marketing terms (Magnum, XL, Snugger) without numeric widths, in which case the website usually has the spec.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Magnum and Magnum XL?

Magnum is 54 mm nominal width. Magnum XL is 56 mm and widens further at the head. Magnum XL is about 30 percent larger by volume than a standard Trojan. See Magnum & Large-Fit Condoms by Brand.

Are SKYN and Trojan the same size in their standard lines?

Close. SKYN Original is 53 mm, standard Trojan is 52 to 53 mm depending on the line. Functionally interchangeable in fit, though SKYN feels different because of the polyisoprene material.

Why do brands publish different measurements for similar products?

Some brands measure at the base, some at the midshaft, some publish the flat nominal width. Manufacturing tolerances also allow for a millimeter or two of variation. A 1 to 2 mm difference is within normal product variation.

Does the length on the package match what I need?

Not necessarily. Length is the unrolled length of the condom. You do not need to unroll the entire condom, so even if you are shorter than the listed length, the condom will work fine.

Is there a true international standard for condom sizes?

ISO 4074 sets minimum width, length, and burst strength requirements globally. Within those minimums, manufacturers choose their own dimensions, which is why you see real variation across brands.
