"New App Offering Sussex Teenagers Sexual Health Advice"

UNITED KINGDOM: "New App Offering Sussex Teenagers Sexual Health Advice"
The Argus (United Kingdom) (01.10.13)

Through the Free2BMe campaign, teenagers in Sussex, England, can access a new smartphone app that will offer information and advice on sexual health. The app provides valuable guidance to those who have had a recent sexual experience and need information quickly, but are reticent about asking questions in-person. The National Health Service in Sussex and East Sussex County Council jointly have run the Free2BMe campaign since late 2010. The campaign already uses Twitter and Facebook, but this new app enables the campaign to reach out to more young people. The app, which aims to reduce teenage pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections, educates teens about the risks regarding sexual health, helps them make better informed choices, and indicates where they can get further advice, information, and support.
